Daniel Picazo

Classical pianist by the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia, starting out in jazz from the hand of Ricardo Belda in 1.998.

He participates in different tours throughout his career, including The Platters. Later, he accompanies the international acid jazz group “Solar Sides” on its tour around Canada performing at the “Montreal International Jazz Festival”, at the “Atlantic Jazz Festival” in Halifax, as well as on a television music program, Musimax.

He has performed at different jazz festivals in the national territory: Nits de Jazz a Torrecremada! (Denia – Alicante), Ontijazz (Ontinyent – Valencia), Gandía (Valencia), Jazz Festival of the UPV (Polytechnic University of Valencia), Jazz Festival of Albacete (with the singer Celia Mur and the guitarist Pedro Muñoz), Festival of Jazz of Peñíscola (Castellón), Jazz Festival of Estepona (Málaga) with the American singer Madeline Bell, Xabiajazz (Jávea – Alicante), International Jazz Festival of San Javier (Murcia).

Among other works he participates in the musicals “Jekyll & Hyde” at the Olympia Theater, “Bienvenido Mr. Marshall” at the Teatro Principal and “El Hombre Invisible” at the Centro Teatral Escatante. Also at the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM) within the cycle “New Music for Classics of Silent Cinema”.

He has worked over the years in different Spanish cities such as Ibiza, Madrid, Valencia in the Auditorium of the Botanical Garden, in the Pío V Museum, in the Cultural Center “La Beneficencia”, in the Jimmyglass Jazz Club. In the Cultural Center “Las Cigarreras” in Alicante and in the Jamboree of Barcelona.
